[ they've barely spoken and even aoi can tell he's probably busy today, but? she still manages to bump into him in the kitchens - and immediately holds out a chocolate cornet. it's still in its packaging, so it seems like she was holding onto it to give to him, rather than just handing him her dinner out of her hands! ]

Is your friend okay?

[That's . . . really sweet. He takes it, and then pats her on the head, almost automatically.]

Aoi is thinking about what to ask whoever killed Kaz if we catch them.

Week 1: Saturday

[Well there's a lot in that statement, but. Most of it he can actually pick up from context.]

[ she doesn't react much to that... she doesn't think of it like any of them owed her anything. but. ]

Aoi would have liked it better if no one voted for anyone.

[Molly does. Molly thinks they owed her a great deal?]

I agree. It's-- better to not. In the end. We had no idea on either of them, and the punishment is cruel enough that it's fucked. We can figure out our own system.

But we can't stop other people from voting... And getting rid of whoever they don't like, even if they're innocent.

Week 2: Saturday

[ aoi comes into the kitchen and just. stares in for a long moment. then looks down at her hands.

she thinks better of trying to cook again, and shuffles over to the vending machine. after jabbing at some buttons for some pre-packaged sweet breads she looks over to molly... ]

Do you want one, too?

Ah-- sure.

[holding out his hands?]

I liked the one you gave me the other day. These things aren't bad.

[ she doesn't really know how to comfort people or bond with them so. have some food. ]

They're okay.

Real cooked food is better, but Aoi is better at pressing buttons than cooking...

I can throw things in a pot, but I don't think it qualifies as cooking, really. You're likely better than I am. You made those cookies, didn't you? They were ... edible.

W5 - THURSDAY

he'll give everyone a bit of time in the medpods because well. all of the healing they need to do but eventually he'll peek his head into the medbay and see if aoi is up and around at any point.]

You doing alright?

[ after about three hours in the pods, aoi can be found sitting up in a medbay bed. she's not all better, but she's not bleeding out from several open stab wounds, so it's a huge improvement. ]

Yup. Aoi's all better now.

[ no she's not?! ]

[He digs in his coat pocket and produces ... one of those chocolate coronets.]

You know, I'm an expert at the "definitely all better" trick, so don't try and pull one on me.

... Aoi's mostly better. Aoi's better enough.

Not the same thing as "all better" and you know it.

[He offers it out though? then snatches it back.]

Yours if you promise to get back in that damned thing at some point and finish healing. I know it's fucking boring.
