[Then she leans back in, putting her mouth over Aoi's neck, and starts drinking. And as she does, Aoi will see a memory!]

[In the memory, Lenore grabs a naked man by the throat, pinning him against a stone wall. Blood trickles down his face. She leans in for a gentle kiss on his bloodied cheek, licks her lips, then throws him to the ground. The vision ends there.]

[ well that's none of aoi's business.

[Lenore can't answer right away, but she does keep the question in mind. When she finishes drinking and pulls away, she takes a cloth from her belt and presses it over the wound to slow the bleeding. She's done this enough times to be somewhat prepared.]

... That was Hector. An enemy general, captured by my sister. I tried to offer him food, and he attacked me. I had to teach him, so that he wouldn't try that again.

[ aoi... doesn't think to take over and help hold down the cloth. sorry she's dumb. ]
